On Thursday, Feb. 13, former Clarksville High School standout Areana Collins’ current college team, the Tennessee State Tigers, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Tiger Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1:15 p.m. at Tiger Field against Mercer Bears.
