On Friday, Feb. 14, former Clarksville High School standout Sydney Weatherford’s current college team, the Evansville Purple Aces, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Butler Bulldogs.

The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Purple Aces’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 12:30 p.m. at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium against Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.
