On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Clarksville High School standout Sydney Weatherford’s current college team, the Evansville Purple Aces, won 14-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UT Martin Skyhawks.
The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Skyhawks this season.
The Purple Aces’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at WKU Softball Complex against Western Kentucky Lady Toppers.
