House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill announced key positions for the 119th Congress. The announcement includes Vice Chairman, Subcommittee Chairs, Vice Chair for Communications, and Committee Whip.

Chairman Hill stated, “The House Financial Services Committee Republicans are ready to deliver for the American people on day one. This experienced leadership team will drive our policy agenda.” He emphasized their goals of adjusting the regulatory system for community banks and creating a framework for digital assets to protect investors while fostering innovation in America. Hill also highlighted the importance of focusing agencies on their core missions rather than political agendas.

He added, “I am pleased to announce that the House Financial Services Committee will also have a Committee Vice Chair for Communications and a Committee Whip. Our Committee Vice Chair for Communications will lead the design of our internal and external communications strategy for Committee Republican wins, and our Committee Whip will ensure our Republicans are working together toward our common goal.”

The newly appointed positions include Rep. Bill Huizenga as Vice Chairman, Rep. Mike Haridopolos as Committee Whip, and Rep. Mike Lawler as Vice Chair for Communications.

– Financial Institutions: Rep. Andy Barr
– Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence: Rep. Bryan Steil

– Oversight and Investigations: Rep. Dan Meuser
– Housing and Insurance: Rep. Mike Flood
