Today, the Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Patrick McHenry (NC-10), announced two upcoming hearings.

The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will hold a hearing entitled “The Fall of ESG: Scrutinizing the Failed Use of Environmental, Social, & Governance Standards and the Influence of Proxy Advisors.” The hearing is scheduled for 10:00 AM ET on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 2128 Rayburn House Office Building. The Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Inclusion Subcommittee will conduct a hearing entitled “Decoding DeFi: Breaking Down the Future for Decentralized Finance.” This hearing is set for 2:00 PM ET on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, also at 2128 Rayburn House Office Building.
