House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill expressed approval following the nomination of Michelle “Miki” Bowman as Vice Chair for Supervision of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Bowman, who currently serves as a Federal Reserve Governor, was nominated to fill this position, which Hill had previously supported.

Hill stated, “I applaud the nomination of Miki Bowman to serve as Vice Chair for Supervision. Miki has done an outstanding job as the community banking designated governor on the Federal Reserve’s board. I am confident she will bring strong leadership in her new role as Vice Chair for Supervision.”

He further added, “I look forward to working with Miki on policies that support everyday Americans and businesses like reevaluating Basel III Endgame and reexamining the supervision and examination policies of the Board.”
