On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Montgomery Central High School standout Gabe Eddington’s current college team, the Austin Peay Governors, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Grand Canyon Antelopes.
The game took place at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. This was their first matchup against the Antelopes this season.
The Governors’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. at Phoenix Municipal Stadium against Arizona State Sun Devils.
