Montgomery County’s institution invested $3,517,202 on their basketball teams in 2023, a 22.4% increase over the previous year, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

The county’s funding for the basketball teams comprised 15.8% of all money invested in sports teams in 2023.

The average sports expenses in Montgomery County have grown 198.8% since 2010.
