Montgomery County did not fund their women’s collegiate football teams in 2023, unchanged from the previous year, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

Meanwhile, men’s the women’s football team received $5,397,432.

The average sports expenses at Montgomery County have grown 198.8% since 2010.

College football is one of the biggest sports in the U.S., with some college teams eclipsing NFL teams in terms of attendance and profit.
