On Saturday, March 15, former Clarksville High School standout Sydney Weatherford’s current college team, the Evansville Purple Aces, lost 14-13 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Northern Iowa Panthers.

The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Purple Aces’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 12:30 p.m. at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium against Northern Iowa Panthers.
