On July 19th, Sheriff John Fuson held a recognition ceremony to honor the continued public service of Deputy Cody Evans of our Uniform Patrols Burea.
Deputy Evans, who received a Commendation last month for his joint actions in rescuing 2 children from a burning house found his way in another life saving event.
Deputy Evans responded to an unresponsive male positioned in a crawl space of a house. Evans was able to maneuver his way to the male patient, pull him out, and assist until he was relieved by Montgomery County Emergency Medical units.
Sheriff Fuson presented Deputy Evans with a Certificate of Recognition which read, “This is an act of deploying life-saving skills, that is above and beyond the expected norm of assignment. It is your dedication and professionalism to your craft and the citizens of Montgomery County that brings great credit to you and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.” Fuson presented Deputy Evans the Office Challenge Coin.
Another job well done!
