8/30/22- 2:16pm Update

Lakine, Jr. additionally charged with: 

Aggravated Assault on Law Enforcement, felony Evading Arrest, misdemeanor Resisting Arrest, and Driving on Revoked License- $150,000.00 Bond

Possession of Firearm in Commission of Dangerous Felony and Convicted Felon Going Armed- $100.000.00 Bond

Possession for Resale Schedule II and Possession for Resale Schedule VI- $75,000.00 Bond

8/30/22 - 1:45pm: Suspect with criminal warrants attempted to flee and resists arrest; apprehended by deputies in North Clarksville. No threats to the community exist. 

Deputies located Ralph Edgar Lakine, Jr. in North Clarksville around 11:00am. Lakine had active crimal warrants on file for domestic assault, violation of probation, and a capias for simple possession of meth. 

Deputies initiated an unknown-risk traffic stop on Lakine at 137 West Concord Drive, The Retreat at Concord Apartments. 

During the traffic stop, Lakine, in an attempt to flee arrest, used his vehicle to strike the front end of a Sheriff’s Patrol vehicle along with a citizen’s vehicle parked at the apartment building. 

Lakine was taken into custody. Lakine faces additional charges.
