Montgomery County Sheriff's Office The Sheriff Reserves

The Sheriff Reserves is another program of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Comprised of members of our community, Reserve Deputies volunteer to serve the Sheriff’s Office on a volunteer basis. They receive equipment and training from the Sheriff’s Office and are able to work with full time Sheriff’s Deputies in their regular duties.

Reserve Deputies also actively engage in fundraising efforts to support the program and community outreach. They recently used some of their raised funds to support our youth in the Explorer Program.

Explorers, youth ages 14-20, regularly learn and train in police related activities. In doing so they use radios to communicate. The Sheriff’s Reserves recently donated $830 to the Explorer Program for the purchase of new radios.

We would like to thank the Sheriff’s Reserves for this kind donation. Additionally we’d like to thank Greer Communications for programming all of the radios at no cost.
