The annual wreath-laying ceremony at the base of the Eternal Flame on Public Square took place this afternoon in downtown Clarksville.
Following the laying of the wreath, Andrew Kester, director of Montgomery County Veterans Service Organization, unveiled a plaque designating a portion of Tiny Town Road from Fort Campbell Boulevard to Peachers Mill Road at Veterans Parkway. The plaque was made in cooperation between the MCVSO Committee and the City of Clarksville Council to recognize the 31,000 military veterans who reside in Montgomery County.
