Today, Sheriff Fuson presented members of the Slate family with Certificates of Recognition for assisting in locating a missing child.
Sheriff Deputies were searching for a missing 8 year old girl. The Slate family, Robert, Leslie, and Ally, were at their home, when they noticed a Deputy patrolling their area. They discovered that the missing child was from a family they they knew. They immediately began to assist by searching the nearby area, A short time later they located her in a nearby field and were able to assist in returning her home.
Their commitment was undoubtedly helpful in bringing the young girl to safety.
