On Thursday night March 16th, six (6) inmates graduated from the " Life Skills Class" at the Stewart County Detention Center, this makes our 11th class. This class helps inmates prepare for employment once they're released. The class covers many areas and teaches inmates, how to apply for jobs, resume writing, interviewing skills as well as many other things needed to obtain employment. The graduates receive a certificate as well as a Bible and also provided a graduation meal. We want to thank Brother Dunn, Ms. Betsy for putting on the class. We want to thank Ms. Beverly Lewis, Ms. Cindy Cook along with  Bumpus Mills Church of Christ for cooking them a great meal. After the graduation and the meal the ladies who helped with the meals took a tour of our Detention Center.
