The House Financial Services Committee, led by Chairman French Hill, has announced a series of hearings scheduled for February 2025. The hearings will address various financial topics and are set to take place in the Rayburn House Office Building.
On February 5th at 10:00 AM ET, the full committee will convene for a hearing titled "Making Community Banking Great Again." The following day, February 6th at 2:00 PM ET, the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will discuss "Operation Choke Point 2.0: The Biden Administration’s Efforts to Put Crypto in the Crosshairs."
February 11th will see two sessions. At 10:00 AM ET, the Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee will hold a hearing called "A Golden Age of Digital Assets: Charting a Path Forward." Later that day at 2:00 PM ET, there will be a Housing and Insurance Subcommittee roundtable focused on California wildfires.
On February 12th at 10:00 AM ET, another full committee hearing is planned regarding "The Federal Reserve’s Semi-Annual Monetary Policy Report." Towards the end of the month, on February 25th at 10:00 AM ET, there will be a session titled "Examining Policies to Counter China."
The final hearing in this schedule is set for February 26th at 10:00 AM ET by the Capital Markets Subcommittee under the title "From a Dream to IPO: Expanding Avenues to Obtain Capital for American Companies."
