The men's basketball team went back on the road for an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) game on Saturday. The team made the trek to face the St. Andrews University Knights.

St. Andrews scored the first five points of the game. TWU scored the next five points of the game, using a Peyton West three-pointer and Kobe Pride jumper to tie the game 5-5. St. Andrews broke the tie before Elisha Mayberry's layup put the game back into a 7-7 tie. St. Andrews broke the tie once again, scoring six of the next eight points to move ahead 13-9. The next few minutes saw the Bulldogs take their first lead after a Cameron Montgomery jumper and back-to-back three-pointers by Ray Tyler, making the score 17-15. Mayberry and Montgomery kept the three-point barrage going, hitting them back-to-back to move the score to 23-19. Tyler and Darius Rozier combined to score the following six points as a part of the 20-6 run, giving Tennessee Wesleyan a 29-19 lead with 10:59 remaining in the first half. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs did not score for the next 7:29 and the opponents took advantage by taking a 38-29 lead. Mayberry broke the scoring drought and Zhaelin Callahan made it back-to-back layups to cut the deficit to five points. Rozier scored the last four points for the Bulldogs, making the halftime score 43-37 in favor of the opponents.

Four of the first six points went towards TWU's score as Pride and Mayberry put points on the board to cut the deficit to four points. Six straight points by St. Andrews put the Bulldogs in a double-digit hole. A barrage of three-pointers, one from Tyler and two from Montgomery, helped Tennessee Wesleyan tie the score 54-54 with 11:31 remaining in the game. St. Andrews broke the tie, going on a 20-5 run to take a 74-59 lead. Tyler and Emmanuel Ndambi scored for the Bulldogs during that streak. TWU made another run, scoring 12 straight points, with scores from Mayberry, West, Montgomery, and Rozier cutting the deficit down to three points. The opponents broke the 12-0 run but the Bulldogs cut the lead down to two points on two occasions on a Tyler three-point jumper and Rozier free throws. With the score 79-76, Tennessee Wesleyan's attempt to tie the game did not go in, and St. Andrews went on to win the game 81-76.

Mayberry led the team with 20 points to go along with 17 points from Tyler and 12 points each from Rozier and Montgomery.
