The House Financial Services Committee, led by Chairman French Hill (AR-02), has announced its schedule for April 2025. A series of hearings and markups are planned to address various financial topics.
On Tuesday, April 1, the National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions Subcommittee will hold a hearing titled “Following the Money: Tools and Techniques to Combat Fraud” at 10:00 AM ET in the Rayburn House Office Building.
A full committee markup is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, at 10:00 AM ET in the same location.
The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will conduct a hearing on Tuesday, April 8, at 10:00 AM ET entitled “Decades of Dysfunction: Restoring Accountability at HUD.” Later that day at 2:00 PM ET, the Monetary Policy, Treasury Market Resilience, and Economic Prosperity Task Force will discuss “U.S. Treasury Debt in the Monetary System.”
On Wednesday, April 9, at 10:00 AM ET, there will be a Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee hearing titled “American Innovation and the Future of Digital Assets: Aligning the U.S. Securities Laws for the Digital Age.”
Two hearings are set for Tuesday, April 29. At 10:00 AM ET, the Financial Institutions Subcommittee will examine “Regulatory Overreach: The Price Tag on American Prosperity.” At 2:00 PM ET on the same day, the Capital Markets Subcommittee will explore “Exposing the Proxy Advisory Cartel: How ISS & Glass Lewis Influence Markets.”
Finally, another full committee markup is planned for Wednesday, April 30 at 10:00 AM ET.
All events are scheduled to take place in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Further details such as livestream links and witness lists will be made available closer to each date.
