Phone Scam Alert | Montgomery County Sheriff's Office
We are receiving numerous calls from the community about phone scammers calling and stating that they have missed a court date and now owe them money.
We've also been informed of scam callers identifying themselves as Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Phone scammers may use technology to "spoof" phone numbers to look legitimate.
The Sheriff's Office will not request money over the phone. Please do not attempt to send money over the phone, online, or meet a caller at an outside location relating to these calls.
