The U.S. House of Representatives has passed four bipartisan financial services bills aimed at addressing various issues, including support for veterans and honoring significant historical figures.

One of the bills, H.R. 7480, known as the Disabled Veterans Housing Support Act, was introduced by Representative Monica De La Cruz from Texas. This legislation seeks to amend the income calculation formula within the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant program to ensure that disabled veterans receive their deserved benefits.

Another bill, H.R. 6751, titled the Roberto Clemente Commemorative Coin Act, directs the U.S. Mint to produce a commemorative coin in honor of Roberto Clemente's life and legacy.

S. 4243, the Shirley Chisholm Congressional Gold Medal Act, aims to posthumously award Shirley Chisholm with the Congressional Gold Medal. Chisholm holds historical significance as the first African American woman elected to Congress.

Additionally, S. 91, known as the Forgotten Heroes of the Holocaust Congressional Gold Medal Act, intends to honor diplomats who rescued Jewish citizens during World War II by awarding them posthumously with the Congressional Gold Medal.

Representative De La Cruz and Chairman Patrick McHenry expressed their support for these bills on the House floor.
